Another record hot day-in 1930!

Today’s high in St. Louis was 97F.

pretty warm. Not as hot as the August 4,1930 high of 105F.This is surprising as the Scientists being paid large grants to promulgate the global warming hoax keep their thermometers at airports and such, which have not declined in heat-producing activity over the last 86 years.

I’ve not been keeping records on the weather statistics that i see nearly every night on TV., But have yet to notice any records being set this year.

A priori, cities should be warming. In fact, John Kerry is more afraid of air conditioner than he is of terrorists.

Seeking suggestions for his next job.

Record hot temperatures.

Every so often we are startled with a claim of record hot temperatures and a threat  of dire consequences from Carbon dioxide if people keep breathing.

Yet, a simple man like myself, listens night after night to the weather report–today’s was pretty typical. High temperature today was 97 degrees. the record high was back in 1953, at 107 degrees.

I remember those days. We fried eggs on the sidewalk. Lotta global warming back then.

They think maybe if the UN could have the power to tax us it would fix the problem.

Makes it hard to take our leaders very seriously.

Portland public schools ban textbooks that cast doubt on climate change

I thought you might be interested in this article Portland public schools ban textbooks that cast doubt on climate change.
Published May 22, 2016
The Portland Public Schools board voted last week to ban any materials that cast doubt on climate change, the Portland Tribune reported.
According to the resolution passed May 17, the school district must remove any textbooks and other materials that suggest climate change is not occurring or that says human beings are not responsible for it.
“A lot of the text materials are kind of thick with the language of doubt, and obviously the science says otherwise,” said Bill Bigelow, a former Portland public school teacher who worked to present the resolution. Bigelow says textbook publishers are yielding to pressure from fossil fuels companies. “We don’t want kids in Portland learning material courtesy of the fossil fuel industry.”

One commenter to the Portland Tribune story responded to the news, saying, “I have never seen a case for homeschooling more clearly put forward. This is further proof that public schools are not interested in education, only political indoctrination.”
As a side note from me (admin) note that what scientists there are supporting the AGW theory are suspect as biased because their lucrative research funding comes from promoting fear of AGW. they support it because they are supported by it. The literature is rife with “adjusted” data, missing data and outright lies. Many top scientists disagree that warming is significant or even undesirable. One thing that most people agree about is that the proposed remedies won’t make any significant difference. see also the discussion of “90% Certainty”, Hot Air, Publication Bias and Perverse Optimism: at

Danes Propose Tax on Bullshit

The price of porterhouse may soon get beefed up in Denmark– if the small Scandinavian nation’s Council on Ethics has its way.
The council, an independent body that advises the government, said this week that Danes have an ethical obligation to fight climate change. And to push them to do that, it called for a “climate tax” on red meat.

According to The Local, the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization has determined that 18 percent of all greenhouse gas emissions – more than the total exhaust from all forms of transportation – comes from animal agriculture. Raising cattle not only contributes 10 percent of those emissions, but it also takes11,360 gallons of fresh water to produce just over two pounds of beef.

Beef also requires 28 times more land and 11 times more water to produce than pork or chicken, and it emits five times their climate-changing gases, according to The Guardian.

But would a tax on red meat actually lead people to switch from chops to tenderloin to tofu?

Yes, the council says. “Danes are ethically obligated to change their eating habits,” it said, but they won’t lower their red meat consumption just because it’s the “right thing” to do

Decade-long ice age predicted due to reduced sun activity

its the SUN, stupid!

carbon Dioxide is an essential gas for the animal and plant growth cycle with little significant effect on temperature.

The hysteria has to to do with grant funding, government power and redistribution of wealth.

long term historical data estimates reveal that periods of higher carbon dioxide FOLLOW periods of higher temperatures. This suggests a different causal relationship.

The UN  is Trying to establish a global taxing authority based on deceptive – deliberately falsified -data.

They have to be quick about it as the facts are betraying their assertions.

California pension systems to lose millions by divesting coal

Last month, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill calling on state pension funds to divest from 24 coal mining companies that have $83 million in holdings.

The law also affects the California State Teachers’ Retirement System.

California pension systems stand to lose millions by divesting from coal

No coal will likely translate into less money for the nation’s largest pension fund for state employees.

But at least for now, it appears the unions representing members of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System aren’t kicking up a fuss about the potential financial hit from a law calling for CalPERS to sell its holdings in companies that derive at least 50 percent of their revenue from coal mining

Kerry declares Keystone Pipeline a “Security risk”

Obama  deep sixes the project. Man was not meant to be warm in winter. Democrats continue war on human survival.

The Iranians will make sure it’s hot for us.

Kerry is even more stupid than he looks.
